HP Elite v2 Wireless Keyboard

With a wireless range of 30 feet supported by reliable 2.4 GHz connectivity, the Elite v2 keyboard gives you the freedom to stray from your desk without worrying about lags or dropouts. HP enables this keyboard to connect with your computer via its own device-networking receiver. The Link-5 is a tiny dongle that supports up to five compatible devices and requires only one available USB port. Setup is easy and takes only a few seconds. Once the dongle is in the computer, you push the Connect button on the keyboard and the two are in sync.

This keyboard comes with programmed F keys that access common functions with the help of the Function key. It also has a web browser hot key and dedicated volume control hot-keys. It's powered by two AAA batteries and features a battery level indicator as well as a sleep mode to help conserve the battery. The Elite v2 doesn't have an on/off switch and the manufacturer doesn't offer an estimated battery life, so we're left to guess that it will likely last between 12 to 24 months since this keyboard doesn't really have any fancy bells or whistles that are typically responsible for draining batteries.
